VIP3 was held in St Priest, France by Popsy Team for the amiga and pc
scenes. It was wildly dominated by the pc though, with only one amiga
production among the 18 demos submitted. Since LTP was cancelled, VIP was
biggest french scene party this year. The arrangers announced on their
website that gamers weren't welcome =) The fast compo (which could be either
code, music or graphics) had the theme "Make an advert for Bunzli #10".
Flåd, Stil and Chew's 4th-placed intro actually cheated, by downloading an
mp3 file from the network when executed, which Flåd cheerfully acknowledges
in his party report in Pain #48 (and also admitted to the organizers after
the party).
