Irish & Celtic Instrumentals was Bjørn Lynne's sixteenth solo album.
As the name implies, the album is a collection of 12 Irish & Celtic traditional favorites performed as "beautiful & tasteful instrumental arrangements". Real instruments used include acoustic guitars, Irish flutes, pennywhistle, violin, piano and accordion.
Bjørn's inspiration for this album came from a visit to the Irish countryside (more precisely along the Southern coast of Ireland) in 2007.
Accompanying Bjørn are Steinar Borvik, who plays various Irish flutes, Nicolae Bogdan on accordian and violin, and Jeremy Sherman on Dobro and Slide guitar.
