Abduction '96

ABD96 was held at Phjankartano in Oulu, northern Finland by Karpow/Scoopex,
for the amiga and pc scenes. This was the third time Abduction was arranged.
The entrance fee was set to 100 FIM (about 22 USD). All the usual
pleasantries, like a 24h cafeteria, a big screen and a party network, were
in place. Voting would be public, and votecounting would commence live on
the big screen. The invitation mentioned a special cd-rom would be prepared
after the party; we'd really like a copy of this cd-rom if indeed it exists!

Seems like the old Finnish C64 group Byterapers has
made a surprise shock comeback on the PC! There also seems like there were
some humourous entries in the demo competiton, with demos from 'Success
Denied' and 'Future Screw' :).
